The future emporer, Titus, was the Roman general responsible for conqueroring Jerusalem, and the destruction of the Jewish Temple. It began a two thousand year long diaspora of the Jewish people that would not end until 1947, when at last Israel would become a nation.
Titus'father, the emporer Vespasian, was responsible for building the Flavian Ampitheater, better known as the Colosseum, a lasting monument to Christian Martyrdom, and the might that once was Rome.
